Chocolate Lava Cake

I know the title got you on this one, and for a good reason I guess? This used to be my favourite dessert growing up and I haven't had it in sooo long, so this really hit the spot

This is another recipe made in partnership with VGAN because yeah, I just looove their chocolates so so much. I used the Grapefruit and Chia Chocolate in this, but you can of course use any chocolate that you want. I really hope you try this, it is a winner for sure!

Ingredients
    Dry Ingredients
  • 200 milliliters all purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground flaxseeds
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Wet Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons agave syrup (sub another liquid sweetener)
  • 2 tablespoons tahini (sub another runny nut/seed butter)
  • 75-125 milliliters plant based milk
  • Filling
  • 2-3 squares chocolate
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 200°C

  2. Mix the dry ingredients together, then add the wet and stir until a thick, but a little runny batter forms, add plant milk as needed

  3. Transfer the batter between two ramekins and stuff your chocolate pieces in the middle

  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes. The top should be set, and the chocolate should be melted

  5. Serve immediately preferably with some vegan vanilla ice cream
